Mr. Kalos met with the current mayor, Mr. Konstantino Drakodaedis, to receive information regarding the solid waste management issues of Lefkada.

Mr. Kalos met with the mayor of Aktio-Vonitsa, Mr. Georgio Apostolaki, to explore temporary solutions for our solid waste management issues.

Mr. Kalos met with the president of the local Trade Association, Mr. Anthony Douvitsa, to discuss why Lefkada was left out of the Consumer Center Network program for urban development.

Mr. Kalos met with municipal Financial Officer, Mr. Spiro Delaporta, to receive information on the 2019 budget. Mr. Kalos pointed out various areas where there was room for improvement, such as public lighting and reciprocity of sanitation fees.

Mr. Kalos met with the president of the Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Sotiri Skiadaresi, to also discuss how Lefkada failed to participate in the Consumer Center Network, a program where a portion of the funds were budgeted for urban development.

Mr. Kalos traveled to Trikala to meet the mayor, Mr. Dimitri Papastergiou. There he received a full tour of their Smart Trikala Center as well as had a productive and lengthy discussion regarding all the innovations of their forward thinking and acting municipality. A lot of the information and feedback will serve us well in the future.
