Konidaris Kriton was born and raised in Poros, Lefkada where he resides with the wife, Mrs. Magdalini Dimoula. He has retired from the merchant marine. He has served as municipal council at the now defunct municipality of Ellomenou for two four-year-terms (1999-2006).
