Sbouki-Grapsa Maria was raised in Nafpaktos and resides permanently in Lefkada since 2000. She graduated the Executive Healthcare Management departmen of the Technologiacal Educational Institute. She is self-employeed in the areas of tourism and food services. She has served as the chair of the PTA of the 2nd Primary School of Lefkada and she is also on the board of the Exantheia Culture Club. She is married to Mr. Thanasi Grapsa with whom she has three children.
